The World Internet Conference (WIC) has officially launched the application process for the 2024 World Internet Conference Global Elite Training.

Scheduled to take place during the 2024 WIC Wuzhen Summit, this training aims to equip executives in the digital age with transformative leadership skills.

It focuses on building an international platform for senior government officials, business executives, and organizational leaders, particularly from developing countries, to enhance their digital capabilities and foster sustainable growth in the digital economy.

Target participants of the training include senior officials and professionals from government departments specializing in internet development, digital transformation, and the digital economy; key decision-makers, including CEOs, chairpersons, and presidents of enterprises; and high-ranking management personnel from international organizations and social institutions.

The training provides participants with a number of benefits, including: exclusive access to the 2024 WIC Wuzhen Summit; essential leadership knowledge for digital transformation; special study tours to digital transformation hubs and industrial parks in China, as well as world-renowned institutions in Europe, such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Reading, and locations in Barcelona, Spain; and the opportunity to connect with senior government officials, academic experts, and industry pioneers worldwide.

Senior professionals from international organizations, such as the United Nations, leading global investors and entrepreneurs, and industry trailblazers in digital transformation, will give lectures.

In addition, the training offers a comprehensive curriculum covering cutting-edge trends and future opportunities in internet development, the relationship between the digital economy and societal development, theories and real-world practices in digital leadership transformation, and on-site research visits to digital transformation parks and enterprises.

The training will last six months, with one week of intensive courses for each session. The training sessions will be held in China, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Applicants should meet the criteria outlined for target participants, represent organizations with sound operational performance, and demonstrate strong interest and proficiency in digital trends, with a keen desire to upgrade their leadership capabilities in the digital age.

The application deadline is 6:00 PM, Oct 7, 2024 (Beijing Time).
