World Bank predicts real global GDP to grow 2.1% for 2023

The World Bank recently upgraded its forecast for global economic growth for 2023. In its latest Global Economic Prospects report, the bank estimates that the global real GDP will grow 2.1% this year. That is up from a 1.7% forecast issued in January but significantly lower than the 3.1% growth in 2022.
